Wendy Wagaman Schroeder
Wendy Schroeder is a native of Lancaster County, where she started dancing with Carol Still and Carol's Academy of Dance at the age of 4. She attended Conestoga Valley High School and MIllersville University, where she studied Special Education. She assisted and taught preschool dance classes at Carol's Academy of Dance for 12 years.
During the day, she works in an autistic support classroom in a public elementary school. She volunteers her time over the summer counseling at a camp for adults with various special needs. She loves to teach the littlest dancers, instilling the love of dance into her students at an early age. She is excited to bring her love of tap and ballet to Dance Envoy! |
Alyson Grine
Alyson specializes in Ballet and Lyrical Dance instruction and choreography. Alyson has been dancing since the age of 9, training in tap, jazz, and specializing in Vaganova ballet at Encore Productions in Southern New Jersey. Throughout grade school and high school she competed both regionally and nationally. For three Christmas seasons Alyson performed corps and soloist roles in the Nutcracker at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. Since high school Alyson has studied in the dance program at Moorpark College in Moorpark CA and Stockton State College in Stockton New Jersey, during and after which she taught for Encore Productions where she grew up dancing.
Alyson currently teaches at several dance studios in and around Lancaster and is a performer with NetCo Dance since 2016.

Mia Vera
Aimee Walton
Aimée started dancing as a little girl when her mother began teaching her the five ballet positions in their kitchen. She became a student at Cricket’s School for the Performing Arts when she was nine and fell in love with dance there. As a teen, she was a member of the studio’s competing and performing company, and she taught children’s ballet and tap classes for several years before graduating high school. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and creative writing from Lock Haven University where she continued to take dance classes for credit. Aimee was also an officer and choreographer for Consort, the dance club on campus. She’s currently working on a Master of Fine Arts for creative writing at Chatham University. She’s also taking classes at Cricket’s and Dance Envoy and substitute teaching at Cricket's.
Leah Martin
Leah studied dance at Movement Laboratory under the instruction of Judy Williams Henry, focusing primarily on Ballet, with training in Modern and Jazz. In high school, Leah participated in Movement Laboratory’s “Good Will Thru Dance” tour in Italy along with other Youth Ensemble members. Leah performed in the Peace Child Project, a dance and multi-media production based out of Youth With A Mission, Montana. The production toured in several western states. She has performed as a soloist at several churches and women’s conferences.
Leah enjoys teaching both youth and adults in a variety of genres that best express each dancers style. She most recently has worked as a choreographer for Shining Light, and taught beginners Ballet out of her home. Leah has also taught, choreographed and performed lyrical pieces at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Lebanon PA.

Mariah Whisler
Mariah spent nearly three years at the Creative and Performing Arts High School in Pittsburgh majoring in dance. Although Hip Hop has always been her true passion, Mariah has trained in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Tap. Mariah completed her High School career at Hempfield High School where she was featured as a principle dancer in Hempfield's Dance Theatre both her Junior and Senior year. Mariah has studied Hip Hop at various dance studios/intensives across the country including SOCAPA, BDC, Millenium Dance Complex and the Edge. Most recently, Mariah has choreographed for Hempfield High School's Dance Theatre ('10, '11), taught Hip Hop at Crickett's dance studio in Manheim, was a dancer on FOX's Mobbed, and spent five months in California training in dance.
